Our basic custom chopper is built from the ground up. It includes
a welded on rigid section mated to a '63-'70 front frame.
All frames are either painted in 2 pack black or powder coated.
Wheels can be ordered in 21", 19", or 16" for
the front, and a 16" in the rear. They are rebuilt with
stainless steel spokes with new chrome rims. All bikes have
new tanks and fenders. Rebuilt stock 650's are standard, but
all bikes can be ordered with performance upgrades. All choppers
are outfitted with SCC manufactured forward controls. These
controls adopt the right foot shift, with a rod operated rear
brake. A hydraulically operated drum, or rear disc set-up
can be had for an extra charge. We also can supply a crossover
shaft operated hand shift (from right to left), that utilizes
our recent in house developed friction foot clutch. This allows
safer and easier use of a suicide style clutch.
We
offer 4 types of off the rack exhaust systems that work with
our forward controls. However, at an agreed upon price, we
can, at your spec, custom build an exhaust for you. These
will be available in either silver or black ceramic only.
As seen on some of the machines, side mount manifolds are
available. These are built in house, for single carb models
only, and they use your manifold. They are polished, and set
up for Mikuni or Dellorto carbs.
When possible,
we try to use Triumph disc brake front ends, with our own
aluminum triple trees. H-D narrow, mid, or wide glide type
front ends can be easily adapted to fit your frame. We strongly
discourage the use of the sixties style aftermarket springer
front ends.
Recently,
a frame jig has been set up at SCC, to correctly rake and
stretch frames. Our ultimate goal is to build our own frames.
We are building a very limited number of Triumph frame bikes,
that will accept a 180 series tire in the rear. Watch our
